Principal, Provisio Global Consulting

Kameel “Demola” Dada is the Principal at Provisio Global Consulting, a firm that provides advisory, technical, and specialized services to clients to support development of programs and sustainable solutions addressing essential needs in Africa’s security and governance sectors. Before establishing Provisio, Mr. Dada spent the last eight years working for the U.S. Department of State primarily focused on security sector governance and reforms in Sub-Saharan Africa, which includes managing program development processes in 23 countries, monitoring and evaluating security assistance programs, and covering regional engagements and initiatives. Before the U.S. State Department, Mr. Dada worked at the Pentagon with the U.S. Department of Defense where he covered West Africa/Gulf of Guinea sub-regional issues and provided guidance and extensive support for the foreign area officers (FAO) program.

Additionally, Mr. Dada supported the Department of Justice in the areas of governance and national security. Mr. Dada also spent time at the United States Mission to the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in Geneva, Switzerland. Mr. Dada holds a Master of Arts in International Relations with an Africa regional specialization from Webster University, St. Louis, Missouri; a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of New Orleans, Louisiana; and another Bachelor’s in History from Ogun State University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, Nigeria. Additionally, Mr. Dada is a Senior Advisor/Board Member at Shift Nigeria, a nonpartisan organization that inspires and enables community transformation across the nation.

Deputy Principal, Provisio Global Consulting

Maurie Haith is the Deputy Principal at Provisio Global Consulting and leads our specialized operations unit. Prior to joining the Provisio team, Mr. Haith serves as the Liaison Officer to U.S Africa Command (AFRICOM), for the Department of State’s Global Engagement Center. Mr. Haith was responsible for mission support for the continuous exchange of information concerning the dissemination of propaganda, disinformation and misinformation targeting the United States, its partners, and allies in Africa.

Mr. Haith managed the relationship between the GEC and AFRICOM and facilitated engagement for GEC leadership, its Threat, and Functional teams and relevant AFRICOM entities to foster collaboration opportunities in support of strategic priorities. Prior to the GEC-AFRICOM Liaison Officer role, Mr. Haith served as Operations Officer for GEC’s Interagency and International Coordination Cell (I2C2). In that role, Mr. Haith led the strategic planning processes for the cell and coordinated team efforts with internal and external stakeholders. Mr. Haith managed USG, international and private sector efforts against state and non-state sponsored disinformation and propaganda related activities.

Prior to joining the GEC, Mr. Haith served in the United States Army for 22 years. During his military service, Mr. Haith was a Liaison Officer to the G3X Special Activities Division, at 1st Special Forces Command at Fort Liberty (formally Bragg), North Carolina. In that capacity, Mr. Haith was responsible for current Special Operations in the AFRICOM Area of Operations and coordinated the information dissemination to ensure all special operation units (4th Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group and its Jedburgh teams) were aligned with all operational efforts and primary priorities of Special Operations Command Africa (SOCAF).

Mr. Haith developed manning solutions to facilitate sourcing of persistent and emerging requirements for operations throughout North and West Africa. Mr. Haith planned, validated, and resourced both current and future operations. Mr. Haith also managed senior military leader engagements for the 1st Special Forces Command Commander detailing the ongoing operations planned, coordinated, and executed by 4th Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group teams, and facilitated cooperation between the 1st SFC, G3X and the Office of Special Warfare to ensure the execution of special activities and the use of forces in the conduct of special activities adhered to proper policies, guidelines, and directives.
