Chairman of Provisio’s Board of Directors

Dr. Oluwakemi Uthman Pinheiro, OFR, SAN, FCIArb, is the Chairman of Provisio’s Board of Directors and a distinguished legal practitioner, scholar, and philanthropist based in Lagos, Nigeria. A graduate of the University of Benin (LL.B. Hons), he was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1987 and elevated to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) in 2006. Dr. Pinheiro is the Founding Partner of Pinheiro LP, a leading law firm, and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Institute of Directors.

With expertise spanning litigation, corporate law, arbitration, and governance, Dr. Pinheiro has contributed significantly to Nigeria’s legal landscape. He is a passionate anti-corruption advocate, partnering with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for over two decades to prosecute high-profile corruption cases involving government officials and industry leaders. His experience extends to election-related matters, insolvency litigation, and advisory roles for regulatory bodies like the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Dr. Pinheiro holds leadership positions, including Chair of the Kaduna State Polytechnic Governing Council and former Chair of the Lagos State Law Reform Commission. A Visiting Professor at Caleb University, he has published extensively and presented over 50 papers on legal and human capital development topics.

Honored with numerous accolades, including the Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) and an honorary Doctor of Laws (LLD) from the University of Benin, Dr. Pinheiro’s commitment to philanthropy is evident through the Mujibat Folashade Idewu Foundation, which supports education for underprivileged individuals. A prolific writer and active member of the International Bar Association, Dr. Pinheiro continues to influence legal practice and inspire positive societal change.

Rear Admiral Adewale Surajudeen Olanrewaju (Retired) is a Director on Provisio’s Board of Directors. Admiral Olanrewaju had a distinguished military career marked by significant academic and professional accomplishments. He was commissioned as a Sub-Lieutenant in the Nigerian Navy on July 19, 1990, and retired voluntarily after 37 years of distinguished and meritorious service to the Nation. During his career, Admiral Olanrewaju specialized as an Underwater Warfare Officer, excelling in both training and instruction.

He furthered his education by earning a Master of Science in Strategic Studies from the University of Ibadan, and is an alumnus of several prestigious institutions, including the Lagos State University, Armed Forces Command & Staff College, the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School, and the National Defence College Nigeria. 

Admiral Olanrewaju held several key command and staff positions, including General Staff Officer Navy to the Minister of Defence. He also served as Commanding Officer for multiple naval units, such as the Underwater Warfare School, NNS SIRI, Forward Operating Base FORMOSO, NNS BADAGRY, and NNS WEY.

Additionally, he held leadership roles at Naval Headquarters Abuja, serving as Deputy Director of Administration, Deputy Director of Policy, Director of Records, Returns, and Analysis, Director of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Analysis, and Director of Standards. For his exemplary service, Admiral Olanrewaju received numerous awards and medals, including the Grand Service Star (GSS), Passed Staff Course (psc), and Fellow of the War College (fwc). He is a Member of the Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria and a Fellow of the Centre for Civil-Military Relations. In his leisure time, he enjoys walking, swimming, and reading. He is happily married with children.

Director on Provisio’s Board of Directors

Folasade “Sade” Dada is a Director on Provisio’s Board of Directors. Mrs. Dada is an attorney by training serving as Head of Office—Lagos; Head of Public Policy, Anglophone West Africa; and Connectivity and Innovation Policy Manager, Africa at Meta Platforms, Inc. (formerly Facebook). Sade collaborates with stakeholders from government, civil society, academia, and industry to find solutions to complex internet policy issues facing African countries. She also works with various teams within and external to Meta to ensure internet connectivity initiatives and innovative products/solutions (such as AI and Metaverse) are executed successfully.

Sade is passionate about bringing high-speed connectivity to communities and enabling tech ecosystems in Africa so that individuals can access the internet and technology and their economic and social benefits. She was recognized as one of the 50 Most Valuable People in Nigeria’s Digital Economy and named an “Inspiring Fifty” woman making impactful contributions across Africa’s tech ecosystem, amongst other accolades. She is an Advisory Board Member of Angel-A Collective and JéGO Technologies and is a member of the Nigeria Internet Governance Forum—Multistakeholder Advisory Group and the Internet Society—Nigeria Chapter.

Prior to Meta, Sade tackled significant broadband deployment issues through her work at the Wireless Infrastructure Association, U.S. Federal Communications Commission, and Microsoft. She was also an Associate Instructor in Indiana University’s Telecommunications Department. 

Sade earned her Bachelors in Journalism from Georgia Southern University, her Masters in Telecommunications from Indiana University, and her Juris Doctorate from Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
